Hi! My name is Deanne, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m based out of Edmonton, Alberta, and I’m best known for sharing the things I genuinely love and think you’ll love too. From everyday inspiration and supporting local to simple ways to make your home and life feel more like you. This space is all about finding joy in the little things.

In 2015, I launched my business, Home Sewn, as a passion project.  As the kid who could never find my name on a souvenir, I created a line of custom name blankets that can be made in any name and any colour. (You can check out my shop!)

I’ve always been a creative at heart - drawn to celebrations, holidays, and the thoughtful details that make everyday life feel special. I went to school for Event Management and have been in the industry for 15+ years. I love all things events. I offer creative services and event support for those with a vision that need help bringing it to life.

In 2022, I spoke on the main stage at the Edmonton Fall Home Show about simplifying seasonal decorating - a highlight in my creative journey.

Over time, my work has grown beyond creating. I’ve been on a personal growth journey, and I’ve found Human Design to be an incredible personal development tool that’s helped me understand myself on a deeper level and navigate life with more ease. In 2026 I began offering readings to help others learn more about their Human Design chart.
